Unirate Investments Ltd is an Industrial and mining supply & services contractor established 25 years ago. The company is managed and staffed by a management team with over 100 years of collective experience supplying and servicing the mining, manufacturing, engineering, and support industries. The company specializes in the supply, installation, and servicing of fixed plant equipment and spares and has global procurement capabilities, endeavoring to cater to the customer’s exact needs.
Unirate has developed the ability to source and install the most economical and cost-effective solutions to its client’s requirements, allowing them to effectively operate their plants while remaining within budgetary restraints. We strive to optimize efficiency and increase production output, effectively reducing the actual running cost. We use established freight forwarders worldwide to ensure the supply chain is kept as effective as possible, thereby getting goods and materials to the site as quickly as possible.

Unirate Investments Ltd has developed three strategic business portfolios where it intends to immerge as a leader in the market and these are:
Supply Division: This was the company’s first strategic business portfolio that was meant to enhance the company’s cash reserves by trading with various players in the Zambian economy such as major mining firms, private manufacturing firms, government departments, and institutions.
Unirate’s product offerings have been positioned as cost-effective, reliable, operational solutions to the current and future needs of the industry. Our current major product & service offerings are:
1. Mechanical Equipment & Spares
Concentrators, Conveyors, Agitators, Thickeners, Clarifiers, Flocculators, Horizontal Belt Filters, Drum Filters, Tank pumps, Peristaltic hose pumps, and other pumps. Various valves including Solenoid Valves and automated valves. Gearboxes, rigid and fluid couplings, Electromagnetic Flow Meters.
2. Electrical Equipment & Spares
Low & Medium voltage equipment & spares including Switchgears, circuit breakers, contactors, surge arresters, power distribution boards, distribution systems, protection devices, switching devices, measuring & power monitoring devices, distribution board components, switching & socket outlets
3. Process Chemicals & Reagents
Blasting and explosive additives, grinding media, flotation and major leaching reagents, solvent extraction reagents, dilutants and modifiers, specialized mineral processing chemicals, collecting agents, foaming agents, Modifying agents, Polymeric Flocculants, and water treatment chemicals.
Contract Mining Services Division: This is Unirate’s second strategic business division. Unirate provides a complete range of mining and drilling facilities for the Zambian and Congolese Underground mining industries. Using state-of-the-art equipment, and technology and sourcing the best personnel available we always endeavor to provide the highest and most innovative standard of service possible.
